Terms of Service

TripTribe is a platform that helps people discover and join real-world group activities ("Xperiences"), such as treks, sports, craft sessions, and social meetups, hosted by other members of the community. TripTribe connects hosts and attendees. It does not organize, supervise, or guarantee the quality, safety, or outcome of any Xperience.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and current.

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• We offer optional selfie verification to build trust between members. Providing false information during verification is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension.
• You may not create more than one account, impersonate another person, or use the Service if you've previously been banned.

• Hosts are solely responsible for the accuracy of their Xperience listing (location, timing, cost, requirements) and for conducting the activity safely and lawfully.
• Hosts may review requester profiles and accept or decline join requests at their discretion.
• Any cost associated with an Xperience is set by the host and collected directly between the host and attendees. TripTribe does not process payments on your behalf and is not a party to that transaction.
• Hosts may cancel an Xperience; attendees will be notified in-app. Hosts should act in good faith and give as much notice as possible.

• Requesting to join an Xperience does not guarantee a spot. Hosts may accept, decline, or place you on a waitlist.
• You're responsible for showing up as agreed, communicating changes to the host promptly, and following any requirements the host has set (e.g. selfie verification).
• Refunds, if applicable, are between you and the host. TripTribe is not responsible for arranging or enforcing refunds.

TripTribe helps you find people and activities, but every Xperience happens in the real world, between individuals, largely outside our direct oversight. Verification features (email, selfie) reduce, but do not eliminate, the risk of encountering someone who misrepresents themselves. You are responsible for exercising your own judgment: meet in public places when possible, tell someone where you're going, and trust your instincts. TripTribe is not liable for the conduct, acts, or omissions of any host, attendee, or third party.

Anything you post on TripTribe, your profile details, Xperience listings, and chat messages, must be honest and must not contain harassment, hate speech, or defamatory content. We may remove content that violates these Terms. You retain ownership of content you post, but grant TripTribe a license to display it within the Service.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other members;
• Post false, misleading, or impersonating profile information;
• Use the Service to solicit money outside the agreed cost of an Xperience, or to run unrelated commercial activity;
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the normal operation of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you've violated these Terms, put another member's safety at risk, or misused the Service.

You can also delete your own account at any time from your profile settings. Once you do, your account is deactivated immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion 30 days later. If you log back in during those 30 days, you'll be offered the option to restore your account exactly as it was. After the 30-day window closes, your profile and associated data are permanently removed and can't be recovered.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TripTribe and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or from any Xperience, host, or attendee, including but not limited to personal injury, property loss, or disputes between members.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
